‘No case is too small and no case is too big’ for the Supreme Court. The Union Law Minister, Kiran Rijiju said in Parliament that the Supreme Court should not handle trivial matters of bail. The Supreme Court Bench headed by Hon’ble Chief Justice, D.Y. Chandrachud replied that if it were not to interfere in the matters of liberty, then ‘what are we here for’?
