Chandrayaan-3: India’s Moonshot, India congratulated by the world. 1.1 India on 14th July, 2023 in the afternoon launched its 3rd mission to the Moon with an aim to soft land on its surface. A successful landing, planned for 5.47 p.m. on August 23, 2023 would make India the fourth Country to achieve the rare distinction after the US, China and the erstwhile USSR. 1.2 The above historical event at Sriharikota was attended by more than ten thousand people.
