Dear Members, I am very saddened as “Shri Prakash V. Surte”, left for heavenly abode on the night of 31.10.2022 and his last rights were performed on 01.11.2022. Everyone concerned with Sales Tax Law was present to pay last salute to Shri. P. V. Surte. Everyone who was concerned with the Sales Tax Laws, VA Tax and Now GST, will remember Shri P. V. Surte for many more years to come. He was called as “Dadasaheb” with respect by all Tax Fraternity. He was also known as “BHISHMAPITAMAH” of Sales Tax. Before we could come out of shock of Losing our Senior Most Member Shri P.V. Surte, again on 3rd November we lost our Past President and Senior Member Shri. Ratilal S. Pathak in the evening of 03.11.2022. May God give the strength to the family members to deal with loss. They truly were a wonderful soul and I pray that God rewards them with heaven. “OM.......
