Our Dada – A legend in himself Shri. P.V. Surte, Advocate 22-11-1927 To 31-10-2022 Shri. Prakash Vishnu Surte, affectionately known amongst all, as “Dada Saheb” breathed his last on 31st October 2022 due to old age at the age of 95. Born in small town called Nandgaon in Nashik District, ‘Dada’ completed his Matriculation in 1945 and graduated from the Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai in 1949. In the same year, he got married to our loving mother ‘Manorama’. After completing graduation, he started his career by joining the Sales Tax Department in the year 1950. He aspired to be a Gazetted Officer within three years of joining the Department and had vowed to resign from the Department, if he did not achieve his goal.
