Dear Esteemed Members,
In a country as vast and diverse as ours, festivals are colourful, vibrant examples of our diversity in tradition and beliefs. The months of September, October and November is when India dons a festive look as the country celebrates festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Navratri, Dussehra and Diwali. The air is filled with smells of traditional farsan and mithai, the sights of diyas and bright twinkling lights and above all the feeling of joy as we wish the best of everything for our loved ones!
Each festival presents to us a beautiful way of remembering our rich cultural heritage. They are a living, breathing way to showcase stories and histories in a way that sustains over time. And that makes me think about the deeper meaning each festival has to teach us. For instance, during Navratri we pay our respects to the feminine energy that protects, nourishes and nurtures us, worshiping the divine Goddesses who ensure our uplif.......
